Student research opportunity in cybersecurity
The cybersecurity program of the Cross-Border Threat Screening and Supply Chain Defense, CBTS, Summer Research Institute is a paid opportunity for developing hands-on technical skills and conducting research to help provide solutions to problems related to the cybersecurity mission of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, DHS.
This 10-week paid internship program is for promising junior and senior undergraduate majors in science, technology engineering and mathematics, STEM. It includes:
- Applicable for CSCI 405 course credit
- Hands-on work in the laboratory with faculty mentors
- Guest Lectures and workshops
- Professional development and field trips
- Engagement with Department of Homeland Security
Program dates
May 22 – July 28, 2023
Two locations
The program takes place primarily at The Texas A&M University System RELLIS campus in Bryan-College Station with travel to Texas A&M University-Commerce, located northeast of Dallas.
