Summary
Join our informative webinar as we shed light on the urgent need for innovative solutions to tackle PPE shortages and safeguard our healthcare workers. Discover the fascinating world of Direct Ink Writing (DIW) printing, where we explore the optimization of Poly (3,4 – ethylenedioxy- thiophene):Poly(styrene sulfonate) (PEDOT: PSS) Inks for creating flexible electronics and sensing systems. Be part of this exciting discussion on cutting-edge technologies that hold the potential to revolutionize biological and chemical safety.
Joining the DHS Summer Research Project as a student researcher, Shams will discuss the shortage of personal protective equipment(PPE) that can be mitigated via rapidly prototyped systems used during chemical or biohazard incidents involving harmful substance exposure or volatile organic leakage. This project focuses on 3D printing and manufacturing innovations.
