Cross-Border Threat Screening and Supply Chain Defense (CBTS)

A U.S. Department of Homeland Security Center of Excellence Led by Texas A&M
What we do
The Cross-Border Threat Screening and Supply Chain Defense (CBTS) aligns closely with the Administration’s America First Priorities by strengthening national security through robust border protection, safeguarding the U.S. economy by preventing ecological and agricultural losses, promoting self-sufficiency by protecting our food supply, and expediting lawful trade and travel.
CBTS supports the development of new technologies and capacities to detect and eliminate biological threats moving through global supply chains, thereby minimizing risks to National Security and operations of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
CBTS is a DHS Center of Excellence located within Texas A&M AgriLife Research.
